MARTHA:
Hello my Dearest Jingle Bell,
It’s been too long since I’ve read and bathed in your kind, gentle
words. I just jetted back this morning from Montana and rushed to my
computer in hopes of reading a loving note from my dearest sweetheart.
Alas, no note.
You’re probably busy lining up another lucky person to participate in
your venture. Oh, Michael I would feel just awful it I did something to
create problems for you. Please say everything is alright and that
you’re not angry with me. If you were cross with me I don’t know what
I’d do. As Fay Wray said to King Kong, “nothing except a battle lost
can be half as melancholy as a battle won”.
Please Michael, let me know if there is anything I can do to help you
in any way. And above all, tell me you still care…more than even a
Happy Meal.
Jay Leno’s producer called my secretary yesterday and wants Kuma and me
to appear on his late night TV show. I just don’t know if I should go
on national TV. What’s your advice Michael. Oh, how I do count on your
wise words to guide me.
My eyes shall remain moist until I read your sweet words again.
-God bless the four of us, Martha
P.S. Kuma’s boo-boo on his head is much better.
